Job Description: POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT POSITION: Biology Lab Assistant

POSITION DESCRIPTION : Part-time position based on semester system. This position is for the Fall 2026 semester beginning on,
August 17, 2026 and ending December 14, 2026 . Lab assistant responsibilities centered on assisting the biology and chemistry faculty with laboratory preparation and activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Successful completion of all of the following sequence of classes with a minimum grade of "B" in the laboratory portion of the course
- BIOL2113/BIOL2113L (Anatomy & Physiology 1), BIOL2114/BIOL2114L (Anatomy & Physiology 2), and BIOL2117/BIOL2117L (Microbiology) or their equivalent
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer literacy skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Biology or Chemistry
SALARY/BENEFITS : Salary, $12/hour - with a maximum of 26 hours per week. There are no State Benefits.
